Will Obama’s stimulus package really work and help the economy?
Sunday, March 28, 2010 10:18Posted in category 2009 Stimulus Check
I’ve heard people say that Obama is already making big huge mistakes, such as closing down guantanamo bay. Now people are saying that this stimulus package »”>stimulus package is really going to screw up the economy even more and put us into a depression. What are your thoughts?

I think the package is going in the opposite direction of what we need.
Have you seen this? It is on point.

I think Obama`s plan is just short term which he already stated was the short term plan. But I don`t think Obama can fix the giving away of our industrial might to China by the Republicans and their tax cuts for the top 5% to move the machinery.

MAYBE temporarily. But you cannot tell me that $825 billion added to the money supply will ‘help’ our economy. It will dilute the dollar even more making every dollar worth LESS.
Look up Operation Bernhard to see what dumping this amount of new currency into the financial system can potentially do.

The stimulus packages in the past did not work. People are so desperate for money that they either take the money and put it in the bank for a rainy day-which does nothing to jump start the economy or they pay bills with it-which again does nothing to jump start the economy. We need extra money, money that we would use to go to the movie, out for dinner, buy that new washing machine, purchase that new car we have been putting off buying. The American public needs to regain confidence in our government and be willing to freely spend money again without concern that we won’t have a job next week. Right now, my family and I are spending no extra money because there is a possibility that I might lose my job at the end of the fiscal year for the company I work for. If I knew that my job was safe, we would probably be willing to take on more debt. But because of the volatile job market, all we are doing is paying down our debt and putting money into savings. Neither of these “stimulates” the economy.
As to whether or not I feel the new President’s stimulus package will work? I wish I can say for certain…..it has not worked in the past, but we can always hope that this new plan will work.

No, it will worsen the crisis and prolong the inevitable, like its supposed to.

what did the first stimulus package that Bush approved do to help the economy? Oh, nothing?
Why is it that no one in government ever learns from past mistakes? The stimulus and bailout did not work the first time so why in the heck would you repeat that same mistake???

No – not at all. These stimulus packages are just a band aid for a bullet wound. They do not help one bit and they actually worsen the economy. This is not a left/right issue either. Bush handed these out too. America is under water. The dollar is going to collapse and the North American Union (with a new currency) will be introduced. Start researching the global elite and the New World Order.
Oh and I’m not crediting Obama with anything, but Guantanamo Bay needs to be shut. It’s a Gulag camp where routine abuse and torture take place!! Here’s a little taste of what goes on at this camp that is HELL ON EARTH:

Many of the detainees (held without charge) are just suspects who are labeled “enemy combatants.” If the government continues on this path, what’s to stop them from labeling you or me “enemy combatants”? Could speaking out against the government or protesting get us labeled as “enemy combatants” and sent to one of these type camps in the near future?? I think it’s a possibility.

YES!!! FIRE UP THE PRINTING PRESSES!!!
It seems like the goal here is to FORCE China to drop the dollar!
