I paid taxes via auto withdrawal from my checking account. Will I get the stimulus check via direct deposit?

What decides if you get your stimulus money via check or direct deposit?

Does the government receive access to use my checking account to deposit the Stimulus check, or should I plan on waiting for a paper check in the mail?
