The first black president of United States has just signed the bill that may or may not help the country in the near future. Many have become interested as to where the money in the stimulus package will go to and even more or asking daily whether they will benefit in the form of a 2009 stimulus check. The senate have already noted all the sectors where the money should be set aside for, including health programs, environmental programs, education, energy, programs for the poor, law enforcement, and so much more.

Some economists believe that not everything on the list is necessary and it would only waste billions of dollars of the country. Aside from that, there are some critics who think that the stimulus package would not help in improving the economic crisis of United States. Many of the general public believe that a stimulus check for 2009 similar to the one sanctioned last year would be the best approach.

And today, it has already been confirmed that the state of California will receive a stimulus check for as much as 10 percent of the total amount of the stimulus package. This is according to Senator Barbara Boxer. In her recent interview with the reporters in Beverly Hills, Senator Barbara Boxer said that the funds for California will be used in decreasing job losses in California. As of today, there are at least two million people who are currently unemployed in the state alone.

In a few days, the senator will go to Sacramento so she can urge the lawmakers in California to give a balanced budget. Boxer said that the lawmakers only have 3 options. The first option is to do nothing, the second is to vote for the right bill and the third option would be to reach a compromise. Boxer believes that a compromise is the only stimulus option that will work.

Aside from that, Senator Barbara Boxer also mentioned that the Californian stimulus check will also include the benefits for the unemployed, funds for the public works projects, as well as enough money to fix schools in the state.
