mailed in taxes when should i expect my economic stimulus check?

I mailed in my tax forms, I did them myself and sent everything off. I had my refund directly deposited to my checking account. I am kind of confused as to if the direct depositing of the stimulus check only pertains to those who e-filed or not. Because I paper filed, should I expect a paper check? The only reason I ask is that it should have been deposited on the 9th and it was not. Thanks!

Here’s the way it works. You are paying an extra $2.50 a gallon for gas due to Operation Iraqi Hoax. That means an extra FIFTY dollars per 20 gallon fill-up. $300 divided by $50 is six. So if you can SKIP six 20 gallon fill-ups, you will have your “economic stimulus”. Chances are, you will go through six fill-ups before your “check” arrives!!!

it will really depend on WHEN you mailed in your return. You will recieve a direct deposit but it will be delayed 4-6 weeks if you mailed in your return after the 1st of April. (4-6 weeks is paper return processing time) You know your stimulus payment is coming when your Tax Refund shows up in your account (Stimulus Payment will be made about 2 weeks after your refund is processed).
Per the IRS:
“Q. I filed after April 15 and the payment date for my Social Security number has passed. How long will it take for me to get my stimulus payment?
A. It will generally take a minimum of six weeks after you file your return to get your stimulus payment.”

if you direct deposited then your stimulus will be also whether or not you e-filed… and as for the payments of the stimulus? they keep changing their dates when things will go out.. i checked last week to find out and it said may 30 this week it was June 8th.. well that’s our government for you.. saying and never doing.. be patient it will be here before Christmas..hey i like the way stockpot thinks….ha ha ha… it is true..

they started with the social security numbers begining w 00 as the last being 99…you need to check the irs web page and i think you can punch in your number it will tell you..they were doing 800,000 a day i think.

It depends on when you filed your taxes. I filed them early feb. and got it deposited directly last week. Patience, You’ll get it.

depends on when you mailed it and they processed it. if they received it and had it processed by april 15 you should have gotten it and might need to find out what happened. If they did not process it until after the 15th then you will have to wait til they do process it.

yes, if you direct deposited into your bank account then the stimulus payment will be direct deposited also UNLESS you had fees taken from your refund for the preparation of the return and efiling…then you will get a paper check in the mail….if you paper filed then you will also get a check in the mail…as for when yo should receive your payment i would need the last two digits of the primary taxpayers social security number (thats probably you)…or you can check yourself by visiting http://www.irs.gov and your link is right in the middle top of the home page and what you need to know should be there including faqs

NO IT GOES FOR THOSE WHO FILED BY MAIL BUT OPTED FOR DD OF THEIR REFUNDS ALSO,LONG AS YOU GOT YOUR REFUND DD YOUR REBATE WILL BE ALSO,SINCE THE IRS HAS YOUR ACCOUNT INFO YOU WILL BE FINE FOR DD.
U MAY NOT HAVE GOTTEN YOUR REBATE YET B/C SOME OF THEM ARE A LITTLE LATE,BUT YOU MAY GET IT BY THIS FRIDAY,IF NOT CALL THE IRS AT 1-800-829-1040.
HAVE U CHECKED THE WHER’S MY REBATE LINK STATUS ON THE IRS WEBSITE ALSO,IT CAN TELL YOU IF YOUR REBATE HAS BEEN SENT OR NOT.

called earlier this morning, had to wait on hold for 13 minutes before I got some help. I was suppose to get mine on the 9th too but because I filed my taxes threw Turbo Tax, I will be getting a paper check next month. When Turbo Tax sends the returns to the IRS they do not forward them the banking information. So if you filed threw Turbo then your not going to see your money “TURBO QUICK”. You will get a paper check.
