I’ve heard a lot of opinions regarding this stimulus package »”>stimulus package from both sides, but I’m having a hard time finding facts to support either side.

    Zero.

It likely will put people out of work. Borrowing, running up debt, and printing extra money devalues the currency making it more difficult conduct business for the consumer and businesses. Less money in circulation or savings typically causes increased unemployment.

Such a plan requires government to spend a dollar in such a way it produces more than a dollar’s work, they have to get more than a dollar back in productivity. Government inefficiency never achieves this. Taking that same dollar out of the consumer’s pocket or devaluing it insures they’ll get a negative return on investment.

None, the stimulus hasn’t even distributed the money really yet.

Now, government can create jobs, but these are worthless jobs that the free market wouldn’t have made (which are jobs that we really want). These jobs also do not produce wealth because they are funded by the wealth produced by taxpayers.

Probably none since it only was passed a couple of weeks ago and the bureaucracy works slowly to implement new policies, The promise of money may have prevented some people from losing jobs but there is no way to count them.
