How does the stimulus package affect you if you filed 3 weeks ago and are already expecting a refund?

Its all over the news that there was a new stimulus package »”>stimulus package for a larger refund. Does that help you if you filed before Bush signed it into law?

In order to send you a rebate check, your tax return must already be filed. Your return is all set to go when they start running the programs in May.

The stimulus package will be sending separate checks after the filing season ( starting May).
Have to have the 2007 tax year return filed to be considered – so you are right on track.

You will get another check sometime this May or June. It is good that you filed your taxes all ready.
