I have a family of 4 and make just about $40,000 a year. I do not see how this new stimulus package »”>stimulus package helps me, or anyone in my same situation. I see it helping more people who already do not work, or work very little to get the EIC at tax time, and welfare benefits. THis is who I see it helping more than the middle class america. Please explain if I am missing something in this package for the working poor?

It’s not going to help you or me. The only thing you are going to get is an additional $13.70 each paycheck. Then, next year, it will only be an additional $8 per paycheck. By God! We’ll be rich! I may just be able to put a 1/2 tank of gas in my car so that I can get back and forth to work in order to supply Wall Street with those million dollar parties and the chump who has 6 kids yet refuses to find a job because they know how to get around the welfare system. Now, doesn’t this make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside? This is what the American people wanted. They thought Obama was the “golden child.” The great savior. I think there is going to be a lot of disappointment coming their way. You will see our taxes begin to rise as well. So, hang on and enjoy the ride. You, my dear, as well as myself, are working to support the undeserving. Yet, they contribute nothing and get everything. I think that in order to recieve these benefits you must contribut some how. Either by working or volunteering. But, this is what our society has deemed appropriate. Be lazy, have a bunch of kids, and we’ll (the suckers who actually have some pride and work for living) will foot the bill so that you can do nothing but sit back smoke weed, talk on your cell phone, and brag about those new shiny rims you just put on your Cadillac Escalade. Isn’t it great?

All sarcasm aside, I truly wish you and your family the best in these hard times. We are all feeling the pinch one way or another. At least the average working American is.
